Compane

You'll find Compane tucked away on Camden Passage, that brilliant stretch of independent shops and cafés that somehow stays properly local despite being five minutes from Angel tube. This isn't the sort of place that shouts about its credentials—the espresso does that for you. They're genuinely particular about their beans, the extraction, the whole ritual of it, but never in a way that makes you feel like you need a degree to order a flat white. The space itself is all stripped-back interiors and natural light, packed with people who actually want to taste their coffee rather than just scroll through their phone (though fair play if you do both).
