You're on Maddox Street in Mayfair, stepping into dark wood panelling and leather that smells expensive without trying too hard. Goodman is the kind of place where they actually know what they're doing with a ribeye—the dry-aging room is their whole thing, and it shows. The menu is refreshingly uncomplicated: killer cuts cooked properly, proper sides that don't overthink it, and a wine programme that'll make you want to linger over dessert (which, fair play, they do well too). It's formal enough that you'd wear a decent shirt, but never stuffy enough to feel like you can't relax.
