Great Nepalese

You're walking down Eversholt Street in King's Cross, past the usual suspects, when you spot Great Nepalese. Step inside and suddenly you're somewhere completely different. The room's got that warm, unpretentious feeling—locals at one table, tourists at another, everyone eating the same thing and equally happy about it. The menu reads like someone actually cares: dal bhat, thali plates that feed two people for under £20, and momos you'll think about on the Northern Line home. The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing, which is rare in this neighbourhood.
