Brilliant Indian cooking in SE17 that's packed nightly with locals who know the difference between decent and actually good kachori.

You'll find yourself in Elephant Park, that pocket of south London that's quietly become somewhere you actually want to spend an evening. Kachori does the kind of Indian food that doesn't shout about itself—no Instagram theatrics, just properly made dishes that taste like someone cared. The kachori itself (obviously) is excellent: crispy shells filled with spiced potato and chickpea that you dunk into tamarind chutney. But there's so much more beyond the namesake—their curries are balanced, their breads are fresh, and honestly, at these prices you're getting proper value. It's the sort of place where tables turn over constantly because word's got out.
