London Naru

You'll find yourself in Spread Eagle Yard, tucked away near Stockwell Street in Greenwich, where Naru does the kind of Korean food that makes you forget about the tired fusion spots elsewhere in London. The space has that lived-in warmth—low lighting, close tables, the kind of place where you're basically cooking your own meat at the table and inevitably getting it on your jumper. The bulgogi is genuinely excellent, properly marinated and charred, and they don't skimp on the banchan. Staff actually know what they're doing, which sounds basic but you'd be surprised how rare that is.
