Walk down Kingsland Road and you'll spot MAP Maison tucked away like the kind of place locals guard jealously. Inside, it's all low lighting, dark wood, and that particular type of continental cool that makes you feel like you've stumbled into a Parisian bar circa 1985—except you're very much in Dalston. The bartenders actually know what they're doing, mixing classic cocktails with precision rather than theatre, though there's plenty of personality behind the bar.
