There's a relaxed, lived-in vibe—exposed brick, natural light, the kind of setup that says 'we care about what we're doing here' without any of the performative nonsense. The coffee's clearly taken seriously, and the food runs from excellent breakfasts through to proper lunches that don't pretend to be something they're not. It's the sort of place you'll see people working on laptops, catching up with mates, or just sitting quietly with a good cup. Hackney Road's full of spots chasing attention, but Premises feels genuinely unbothered by any of that—just doing its thing really well.
