You're rushing to catch a train from Paddington and need something that won't destroy your stomach or your wallet. This Pret sits right on the platform level, so you've basically got no excuse for grabbing a meal. The usual suspects are here—their crayfish sandwiches are genuinely decent, the coffee is better than most chain coffee, and they've actually got a decent selection of salads if you're trying to pretend you eat vegetables. It's busy, it's functional, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Nothing fancy, but when you're standing on a platform in West London with fifteen minutes before your train leaves, you could do far worse.
