You're in Canary Wharf, which usually means sterile chain restaurants, but Royal China breaks the mould. Push through the revolving doors at Westferry Circus and you're hit with proper dim sum theatre—trolleys wheeling past, carts laden with har gow and siu mai, that brilliant din of families and business lunches overlapping. The roasted meats hanging in the window aren't just Instagram bait; the Peking duck and char siu are genuinely brilliant, glistening and properly executed. It's the kind of place where you can spend £15 or £60 depending on your appetite, which is refreshing round here.
