Walk into The Colonel Fawcett and you'll clock straightaway that this isn't trying to be anything other than a damn good pub. Tucked away on Randolph Street near King's Cross, it's got that lived-in feel—sticky floors optional, depending on the night—where the beer list takes itself seriously but the atmosphere doesn't.
