The Doric Arch has that particular London pub character—high ceilings, dark wood, the sort of place where regulars know the bartenders' names and tourists stumble in relieved to have found somewhere that isn't a chain. It's the kind of spot you'd grab after a train journey, or pop into on a random weeknight with a mate.
