The Wesley Euston

A proper Victorian Methodist chapel converted into a stylish hotel with bags of character right by Euston Station.

You're walking down Euston Street and suddenly there's this magnificent red-brick chapel staring you in the face – except it's now a hotel, and it's genuinely brilliant. The Wesley has managed that rare trick of honouring its heritage (it's a Grade II listed building, originally built in 1887) whilst feeling contemporary and actually desirable. The lobby alone is worth a visit – soaring ceilings, stained glass, original features – but it never tips into museum-like stuffiness. Rooms are clean-lined and comfortable, and there's something rather special about kipping in a converted chapel.
