Vagabond Wines Monument

You're standing on Gracechurch Street in the shadow of the Monument, and honestly, this is where the Square Mile gets interesting. Vagabond does wine — really good wine — but without any of the stuffiness you'd expect from somewhere this central. The list leans natural and small-producer, the sort of thing that makes you want to stay for another glass. Staff actually know their stuff and won't patronise you if you're not sure what you're ordering. It's the kind of place where you'll bump into people who care about wine but aren't insufferable about it.
