Vardo Chelsea

Caravan's Chelsea outpost serves bold, globally-influenced cooking in a stripped-back space that feels more warehouse than fine dining.

🍴 Contemporary Globalcasuallivelyrelaxedindustrialrestaurant
You'll find Vardo tucked into Duke of York Square, a pocket of Chelsea that doesn't feel like Chelsea at all—all converted warehouses and independent energy. The space itself is deliberately unglamorous: concrete, exposed brick, long communal tables that practically force you to acknowledge the people next to you. The menu pulls from everywhere and nowhere in particular—think Middle Eastern spices bumping up against British ingredients, Korean flavours bleeding into Italian pasta. Breakfast is taken seriously here (eggs done properly, sourdough that's actually good), and the coffee's the kind that makes you realise what you've been drinking at chains. It's the sort of place locals come to repeatedly because it doesn't try too hard.
