Head out towards Tytherington and you'll find yourself in proper neighbourhood pub territory. The Brocklehurst Arms does what it does well: it's the kind of place where you can settle in with a pint of something reliable, grab a decent meal without fuss, and actually hear yourself talk. Greene King's done the usual thing—decent cask selection, food that won't disappoint, and enough room that you're not standing shoulder-to-shoulder on a Friday night.
