You wouldn't expect to find one of the better mini golf experiences sandwiched between sporting goods racks and children's clothing, but here we are. The UV lighting here isn't the half-hearted purple bulb situation you get at most places – everything genuinely pops in electric blues and greens against the Hawaiian backdrop. The course design shows actual thought, with proper obstacles that challenge without being impossibly frustrating. Sure, the setting is decidedly unglamorous – you're literally in the basement of Dick's – but once you're putting through glowing palm trees and tiki statues, the retail backdrop fades away. It's particularly good for rainy afternoons when you need something different, and the staff seem genuinely enthusiastic about keeping the experience fun rather than just processing punters through.
