Walk down Brazennose Street towards the cathedral quarter and you'll spot Maray tucked among the Georgian architecture—it's the kind of place that makes you wonder how you've missed it. Step inside and there's this warm, unpretentious energy: exposed brick, colourful tiles, and actually friendly staff who know their menu. You're here for the food though. The mezze boards are generous and flavour-packed, with hummus that doesn't taste like it came from a supermarket tub, freshly fried falafels, and charred flatbreads that arrive still steaming. Everything lands at reasonable prices for city centre Manchester, and they do proper Lebanese coffee that's cardamom-heavy and proper strong.
