While other Thai places stick to the safe pad thai and green curry formula, Siam Smiles actually takes risks with their menu, serving up proper som tam papaya salad and other dishes that feel refreshingly authentic. The setup is refreshingly no-nonsense – think cafe vibes rather than restaurant pomp – but the food does all the talking. The kitchen clearly knows what they're doing, and you can taste the difference in every dish. It's the kind of place that makes you wonder why you've been settling for mediocre Thai food elsewhere.
