Tao's Restaurant

Head to Rowan Place in Prestwich and you'll find Tao's doing what a lot of Manchester Chinese restaurants have forgotten how to do: cook with real technique and proper ingredients. This isn't the sort of place that's trying to be cool or Instagram-friendly; it's just genuinely good Cantonese food that keeps locals coming back. The dim sum trolley does the rounds at lunch, the wok work is sharp, and they're not afraid of strong flavours.
