The room's got enough character to feel like a real bar rather than a corporate box, and the kitchen clearly takes itself seriously without being precious about it. This is the sort of neighbourhood spot (except it's dead centre) where you'll see the same faces back again because the cocktails are actually mixed with a bit of thought, and they're not charging you London prices for it.
