The jerk chicken here actually has proper heat – none of that bland chain restaurant nonsense – and their curry goat falls off the bone exactly as it should. The cocktails deserve special mention, particularly anything involving their extensive rum selection. A couple of their punch bowls and you'll forget you're in Milton Keynes entirely. The staff genuinely seem to enjoy working here, which makes all the difference when you're settling in for a long evening. Sure, it's part of a chain, but they've nailed the Caribbean restaurant formula without feeling corporate or soulless.
