It's slick without being try-hard, the kind of place where they'll make you something genuinely excellent whether you know your Martinez from your Margarita or you just fancy something cold and strong. The crowd's mixed: city workers unwinding, couples who've made an effort, groups of mates who've decided tonight deserves better than Wetherspoons. Rodney Road's had a bit of a shake-up these past few years, and Bar.Code sits comfortably at the centre of that. Drinks run £7–£12 depending on what you're after, which feels fair for the quality you're getting.
