The Rivergarden

Head out along Yarmouth Road and you'll find yourself in proper neighbourhood territory, away from the city centre hustle. The Rivergarden sits right where it says on the tin—there's actual water views here, and the garden is genuinely pleasant, which counts for something in Norwich. Inside, it's done up with enough care that you don't feel like you're in a chain, but relaxed enough that you can still slouch with a pint. The food's better than standard pub fare without being pretentious about it.
