You'd walk past most Zizzis without a second glance, but this Tombland branch sits in a gorgeous old building that makes you forget you're eating chain Italian. The medieval stonework and cathedral views through the windows create an atmosphere that's genuinely special, whether you're grabbing lunch after browsing the market or settling in for dinner before a show. The menu hits all the expected notes, but they execute it properly here. Their rustico pizzas have that perfect charred crust, and the pasta portions are generous enough to satisfy even the hungriest Norwich City fan. Staff know the menu inside out and actually seem to care, which isn't always a given with chains. It's reliable comfort food in a setting that punches well above its weight.
