The cafe serves the dual purpose of caffeinating climbers before they tackle the walls and providing a comfortable perch for non-climbers who fancy watching the action unfold. The coffee is properly extracted - none of that weak, sporty venue nonsense - and they do a solid line in healthy-ish snacks that won't weigh you down mid-climb. Even if you've never touched a climbing hold in your life, it's worth popping in for the unique atmosphere. There's something oddly relaxing about sipping a cortado while watching people problem-solve their way up colourful plastic holds above your head.
