You'll find this basement club tucked below street level on Goldsmith Street, where exposed brick and metal fixtures create that proper underground feel without trying too hard. The sound system actually does justice to whatever's playing, whether that's house, techno, or the occasional drum and bass night that gets properly messy. The crowd skews younger but not obnoxiously so – plenty of students mixed with twenty-somethings who know their way around a dance floor. Drinks are reasonably priced for a club, and the bar staff move quickly enough that you won't spend half your night queuing. It's not trying to be the fanciest spot in town, which is exactly why it works.
