You'll find this place tucked beneath street level in what feels like Nottingham's answer to a Berlin techno bunker. The low ceilings and brick arches make everything feel deliciously claustrophobic when the bass drops, and the sound system hits hard enough to rattle your ribcage. It's not trying to be glamorous – the decor is minimal bordering on spartan, but that's entirely the point. The crowd skews younger and properly committed to the music, which ranges from liquid drum & bass to harder neurofunk depending on the night. You'll queue outside regardless of weather, and once you're in, expect to stay until they kick you out. The bar keeps things simple with standard club drinks at reasonable prices for what you get.
