You'll find yourself on Carlton Street in the city centre, pushing through a door that transports you somewhere decidedly warmer and considerably more colourful than Nottingham usually offers. Tahula's commits fully to the tiki aesthetic—think bamboo, garish prints, and drinks served in ridiculous vessels—but never tips into parody. It's the sort of place where you can actually relax, order something with an umbrella in it, and not feel self-conscious about it. The cocktails lean into rum-heavy classics and house specials that take themselves seriously enough to be worth ordering.
