You don't need to know your Orks from your Eldar to appreciate this unexpectedly good café tucked inside Games Workshop's global headquarters. The coffee is properly decent – think proper espresso rather than gaming fuel – and the sandwiches and cakes actually taste like someone in the kitchen cares about food, not just feeding hungry hobbyists between painting sessions. What makes it work is the atmosphere: you're surrounded by incredible dioramas and display cases showcasing some seriously impressive miniature artistry, but the staff treat everyone the same whether you're clutching the latest codex or just wandering in curious. The space feels more like a modern museum café than a nerdy hangout, and watching someone carefully paint tiny Space Marines while you sip your flat white is oddly therapeutic.
