Head out to Wollaton and you'll find Wheelhouse doing what it does well — serving up honest pub food and cold pints without pretension. It's the kind of place where you can sink a few beers with mates, grab a decent burger or fish and chips, and actually hear yourself think (most nights). The atmosphere is genuinely welcoming rather than trying too hard, and families are well catered for if you're popping by for a weekend roast. It punches above its weight in a neighbourhood that doesn't get talked about enough.
