You'll find yourself on Castle Street, just north of Carfax, pushing through the door of what feels like a genuine neighbourhood spot rather than a tourist trap. The kind of place where the kitchen clearly cares about technique—those noodles aren't coming out of a packet. The menu keeps things focused: excellent dan dan noodles with that proper numbing tingle, dumplings that snap when you bite into them, and the sort of hand-pulled dan dan noodles you'd actually queue for. It's casual, no-nonsense ordering, and the regulars know to get there hungry. The 4.4-star rating tells you people keep coming back for a reason.
