Head up to South Parade in Summertown and you'll find this place packed most nights, and for good reason. The wood-fired oven is doing proper work here, turning out pizzas with the kind of char and leoparding you actually want, not that anaemic stuff you get elsewhere. It's unpretentious—stripped-back interior, friendly staff who seem to actually enjoy working there—but they're not cutting corners on ingredients or technique. You'll queue on weekends, which says everything.
