Seven Stars

Head down Parade Street towards the seafront and you'll find Seven Stars tucked among the town's old character buildings. This is the kind of place where the landlord knows your name by your second visit, the jukebox actually has decent tunes on it, and nobody's fussing about craft cocktails or Instagram angles. It's the pub Penzance locals actually drink in — not the one they recommend to visiting mates trying to look cool. Real ales on tap, decent basic food, the sort of atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than you planned.
