It's the sort of place where office workers grab a quick lunch, students stretch their loans, and locals settle in for a proper session. The menu delivers the expected hits without any nasty surprises, and you can't argue with the prices when a pint costs less than a fancy coffee elsewhere in the city centre. The breakfast runs until noon and does the job, whilst the curry nights pack them in midweek. It's not going to win any awards for atmosphere, but sometimes you just want a straightforward boozer that opens early and stays open late.
