The salmon teriyaki and chicken katsu curry are proper crowd-pleasers, though the real joy is in the spontaneity of it all. It's become the go-to spot for a quick lunch when you're shopping or killing time before catching a film at the cinema upstairs. The staff keep things moving efficiently, and while it's not going to revolutionise your understanding of Japanese cuisine, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Perfect for when you want something more interesting than the usual Drake Circus food court offerings but don't want to venture too far from the Armada Way crowds.
