Nando's Preston - Deepdale

You know what you're getting at Nando's, but this Deepdale branch on Blackpool Road does it properly. The chicken comes out juicy rather than dried to bits, and the staff actually listen when you say you want medium rather than assuming you can handle extra hot. The usual suspects are here – butterfly chicken, halloumi, and chips that are decent enough – but it's the execution that sets this one apart from some of the ropier branches you'll find elsewhere. Sure, it's in a retail park setting, but that means proper parking and no stress about finding a table on match days when the city centre goes mental. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect – families, groups of mates, and the occasional date night where someone's playing it safe. At around £12-15 for a main and sides, it's fair value for what you get.
