The modest frontage doesn't scream fine dining, but step inside and you're transported to someone's front room – albeit one where the aromas of proper spice blends and slow-cooked curries fill the air. The menu reads like a love letter to Pakistani home cooking, with dishes that actually taste like they've been passed down through generations rather than knocked up from a jar. Portions are enormous – you'll be taking leftovers home – and the prices are frankly ridiculous for the quality you're getting. It's the kind of place that makes you wonder why you ever bothered with the sanitised curry houses in the town centre.
