The Waterfront

You walk down Harbour Parade and suddenly you're sat looking out at actual water—masts clinking, seagulls doing their thing, the whole Mediterranean-lite vibe Ramsgate does so well. The Waterfront isn't trying to be fancy about it. The beer list is genuinely good (they're Craft Union, so you know they take that seriously), the food lands somewhere between proper gastropub and no-nonsense pub grub, and the staff actually know what they're talking about. On a decent day, this is the kind of place where you'll find locals three-deep at the bar and visitors wondering why they didn't book a table.
