Ellis' Vaults

You'll find Ellis' Vaults tucked beneath Water Street, down in those proper old stone vaults that give the place its name and soul. It's the sort of bar that doesn't need to shout about itself—the exposed brick, the low ceilings, the genuine lack of pretence does that for you. Head down here on a Friday night and you'll catch the real Rhyl crowd: mates catching up, folks popping in after work, the kind of drinkers who've been coming here for years because the drinks are decent and nobody's trying too hard. The Facebook page suggests they're into their events and live music too, so it's worth checking what's on before you go.
