You're looking at a place where the locals actually outnumber the day-trippers, which tells you everything about the quality of what's coming out of the kitchen. The food's the real draw here; they do classic British fare done properly, the kind of thing that makes you realise how much better a well-cooked steak and ale pie tastes when someone's actually bothered with it.
