Walk into CAWA on Division Street and you'll clock it immediately: this isn't trying to be anything other than what it is. You've got bare brick, minimal fuss, and a counter where the staff actually care about your order. It's the kind of place where regulars nod at each other, and you'll spot people working on laptops or just sat with a flat white, watching the city centre go by. The coffee is the star—they're clearly trained, they're consistent, and they're not charging £6 for a cappuccino. This is what the Sheffield coffee scene needed: competence without the pretence. Division Street's got a bit of everything these days, but CAWA feels properly established, like it's already become someone's third place.
