Walk into Kollective and you'll clock straightaway it's not another chain cafe pretending to be independent. The space has that lived-in feel—stripped brick, decent music, the kind of crowd that's actually from Sheffield rather than just passing through. You're looking at the sort of brunch menu that changes with what they can get hold of, which means it's proper seasonal and you won't see the same tired eggs benny everywhere else. Coffee's genuinely good here, not the burnt stuff you wade through at half the City Centre cafes.
