You wouldn't normally trek to a chain hotel for dinner, but the restaurant at this Arundel Gate spot does the job better than you'd expect. The breakfast spread is genuinely good - proper sausages, decent coffee, and they don't scrimp on the continental bits either. Evening meals lean international with a British backbone, and while it's hardly groundbreaking, it's reliable and well-executed. The space feels more restaurant than hotel dining room, with proper lighting and tables that aren't squeezed together like sardines. Service is efficient without being robotic, and the location puts you right in the thick of things near the Crucible and Winter Garden. It's the sort of place that works for business lunches, casual dinners, or when you can't be arsed venturing far from the city centre.
