You know what you're getting when you roll up to this McDonald's on Windsor Road, and honestly, that's exactly what you want sometimes. The staff here seem to have their act together better than most branches – your chips are usually hot, they remember the sauce you asked for, and the coffee machine isn't perpetually broken. It's nothing fancy, but the place is clean and the service is quick enough for a proper breakfast before work or a late-night munch after the pub. The drive-through moves at a decent pace, which is more than you can say for some of the other fast food spots round here. Sometimes the most revolutionary thing a McDonald's can do is simply function properly, and this one does.
