Cisco's Cafe

You'll find Cisco's tucked away on Port Street, just far enough from the castle crowds that it feels like a local secret—though the 4.7 rating suggests plenty of people have caught on. The coffee here is genuinely good: properly extracted espresso, milk steamed with actual care, the sort of thing that makes you realise how many café chains you've been tolerating. The cakes rotate but they're always homemade, and there's usually something with chocolate involved. It's tiny, genuinely tiny, so if you're after a sprawling brunch spot, look elsewhere. But if you want excellent coffee, a slice of something your nan would approve of, and conversations between strangers that don't feel forced, this is exactly where you should be.
