William Wallace
Proper local boozer on Airthrey Road where you'll find folk actually from Stirling, not poseurs. Good pints, better company.

Walk into the William Wallace and you're stepping into the kind of pub that doesn't need to try too hard. It's the sort of place where regulars have their spots, the bar staff know what you're drinking before you order, and nobody's worried about Instagram angles. Airthrey Road's got plenty of options these days, but this one's got the kind of authenticity that comes from just being genuinely sound—decent ales on tap, the telly's usually on for the football, and there's actual conversation happening at the bar. You'll find students mingling with pensioners, which says everything about how unpretentious the place is. The 4.6 rating isn't surprising when you reckon most of the people reviewing it have been going for years.
