You'll find this spot on Howard Place, just off the main drag in Stoke town centre, doing exactly what it says on the tin. The peri peri chicken here isn't the sanitised chain version – it's got proper Portuguese fire running through it, with spice levels that actually mean something. The chicken's properly marinated and grilled, not just slathered in sauce as an afterthought. The menu's broader than just chicken though – their burgers are surprisingly decent and the portions won't leave you hungry. It's the sort of place where you can bring the kids without worrying about the noise, but equally fine for a quick lunch between meetings. Service is usually spot on, and at these prices, you're getting proper value for money.
