You know what you're getting at Harvester, but this one's got something the city centre branches don't - proper views over Trentham Lakes and a location that doesn't feel like you're eating in a retail park car park. The unlimited salad cart is still the main event here, and whilst it's not going to win any awards for innovation, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Kids love the build-your-own approach and parents appreciate not having to negotiate over vegetables. The burgers and mixed grills are predictably decent, and the breakfast menu (available Friday to Sunday from 9am) is a proper full English affair. It's the sort of place you end up after a day at Trentham Gardens or the shopping village, when everyone's knackered and just wants something reliable. The staff are genuinely friendly rather than corporate-scripted, which makes all the difference when you're dealing with tired families.
