Right in the heart of Hanley's shopping district, this family-run Italian has been quietly serving up some of the best pizza in the city centre for years. You'll find yourself squeezed into a cosy dining room that feels more like someone's front room than a restaurant, which is exactly the point. The menu reads like a love letter to southern Italy, with proper Neapolitan-style pizzas coming out of their stone oven with perfectly charred crusts. Their homemade pasta dishes are generous enough to share, though you probably won't want to. The tiramisu is worth saving room for, even when you're already bursting at the seams.
