You'll find Lambs tucked away on Sheep Street, in one of those beautifully creaky Tudor buildings that Stratford does so well. It's the kind of place where they've clearly thought hard about what they're doing—the menu changes seasonally, there's real care in the plating, and they're not trying to be London. Service strikes that rare balance between proper and warm, the sort of thing that makes you feel genuinely looked after rather than fussed over. The dining room has low beams and candlelight, which could feel twee in less capable hands, but here it just feels like the perfect setting for proper food.
